The door with a key

Just like every other canvassing day this day was no different except for one thing. Stairs! I kid you not this was the most amount of stairs I climbed in my life in one day. Apparently, my leader loved giving me houses on hills with a lot of stairs and I came to the quick realization that walking up and down a whole flight of stairs with 20 pounds on your back can be pretty exhausting. You had to make the most of every single person you talked to. At one of the doors during this day I noticed a key that was still in the keyhole. I thought that was odd because no one would be foolish enough to leave your key there where anyone could take it. When the gentleman who lived in the house saw me through the window he motioned for me to leave. I was pretty bummed out but I decided to smile and praise God. Well before I left I mentioned the key to the gentleman, and the funny thing is he had to open the door to get it, so I didn't let this God given opportunity slip by and I canvassed him. In the end God blessed me with a 3 book set and once again I was reminded that God provides for His dear children!
